The Old Bootleians

General Information

Membership of the Old Bootleians Association is open to all former pupils of Bootle Secondary School for Boys and Bootle Grammar School for Boys.
The association meets twice each year usually at West Lancs Golf Club (WLGC). The Annual Reunion dinner being held in spring and the AGM and Hot Pot Supper in autumn. Please contact the Functions Secretary via the links on this page if you are interested in attending the meetings or require any more information.

The George Vernon Memorial Trophy Golf Days are held annually at WLGC in Blundellsands. Register your interest for future events - see events below for details.

2024 EVENTS

The Annual Reunion Dinner was held on Friday 19th April 2024 at the WLGC.
The date for AGM & Hot Pot Supper is to held on Friday 15th November 2024.
Both events will be at WLGC.
The George Vernon Memorial Trophy Golf competition was scheduled for 1st July at WLGC contact Alan Murch (alan.murch@btinternet.com or 0151 342 4222).

2025 EVENTS

The provisional date for Annual Reunion Dinner is for Friday 2nd May 2025.

The provisional date for AGM & Hot Pot Supper is Friday 14th November 2025.
Both events will be at WLGC and confirmed dates will be announced nearer the scheduled dates.

MAGAZINE

The Old Bootleian Magazine was scheduled for April 2024 has been postponed due to a lack of articles being submitted. An expanded newsletter was distributed in March in lieu of this postponement.
Contribution are still sought to allow a Magazine publication in future. Please send any contributions you wish to make for the next edition to (the Editor).
